Dr Yan Tao (Sophia)

Dr Tao is the founder of ST UK Education Consultancy.

"I started my UK career by studying for an MBA degree. Subsequently, I was awarded full scholarships for my MSc and PhD studies from The Open University Business School, UK. I have experience in teaching business and management subjects at the University of Lincoln and at the International Study Centre - also at the University of Lincoln. I taught Chinese at Milton Keynes Chinese School. I worked in China for five years, as a consultant to the Chinese real estate industry and as an architectural designer."

Dr Tao's experience of studying and teaching at the UK Universities gives her a distinct advantage in providing education consultancy to Chinese students in the UK.

Dr Tao is the British Council accredited global education consultant (Agent Reference: GAL/15789). She and her team have successfully placed students in some of the finest UK boarding schools and universities. Dr Seema Sharma

Dr Seema Sharma worked as an online faculty member at the University of Roehampton, London. She was also a visiting lecturer and a consultant at the University of Bedfordshire Business School, UK. She had previously worked as a consultant in the Project 'Online Home Based Businesses' at The Open University Business School, UK. She also acts as an independent assessor in the PhD confirmation interview panel at London School of Commerce. Dr Sharma continues publishing research papers in the peer reviewed academic journals.

Dr Paul Isitt

PhD (Under scholarship with PRS) MMus, BMus (hons), PGCE
Dr Isitt has taught in a wide number of educational settings including universities and FE colleges. At University of Wales, Bangor and University Putra Malaysia he taught music technology and electro acoustic composition as well as orchestration and music composition for film. At UPM he played a vital role in developing one of the first music technology courses in the Malaysia.
Dr Isitt has received numerous commissions by arts groups and organizations such as London Symphonietta. He is a published composer and has also written numerous signature tunes and incidental music for videos and documentaries.
His music has been performed worldwide, including concerts and radio airings in England, Wales, Ireland, Malaysia, and Montreal.

Dr Isitt is also a highly experienced English teacher having taught for many years at Sussex Downs College in Eastbourne. He teaches general English studies , ESOL and IELTS to a wide range of different students.

He has joined ST UK Education Consultancy Ltd as Principal Tutor in English and as an Education Consultant.

Dr Charlie Shi

PhD, MSc in Numerical Mathematics, BSc in Mathematics
Dr Shi was awarded a first class honours BSc degree and subsequently a first class honours MSc degree at Fudan University, one of the top five universities in China. He went on to obtain a PhD in Numerical Mathematics at Technische Universität Berlin, 1st in Germany in Mathematics according to QS World University Rankings (2013).
Dr Shi has taught a wide range of modules to undergraduates and postgraduates of all levels for more than 7 years at South China Normal University (SCNU). He has also supervised undergraduates and postgraduates writing their BSc and MSc degree theses at SCNU. As a group leader in teaching mathematics related modules for mathematicians, economists, physicians and engineers, Dr Shi has been engaged to coordinate the module work of other teachers and to design and develop teaching methods, curriculum and exam papers. During his years of teaching, Dr Shi has received a constantly high student satisfaction of teaching quality with an average evaluation score being more than 90%.
Dr Shi has joined ST UK Education Consultancy Ltd as Principal Tutor in mathematics and finance and as an Education Consultant.

Miss Irene (Xueting Zhu)

Miss Zhu has five years of study experience in the UK, including two years of A LEVEL and three years of study at University College London (UCL). Irene has joined ST UK Education as South China Manager and as an Education Consultant. She is now based in Guangzhou, China.

Mrs Nancy Tang

CGA, MBA, BA (honours)
Mrs Tang graduated with a BA honours Degree from University of Hubei, China. She obtained an MBA Degree at Southern Cross University in Australia after working as an education consultant for several years. Moving to Toronto in 2012, she completed CGA courses and obtained the Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting in Seneca College.
Working for multinational companies, including Schneider Electric and others on the Fortune 500 list, Mrs Tang has acquired strong skills in customer relations, building strong rapport with customers, quickly identifying their requirements and providing them with clear and accurate information.
Mrs Tang has joined ST UK Education as an Education Consultant based in China.

Dr Stephen Little

PhD(RCA), MSc, BSc(hons)Arch, FeRSA, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Dr Little has had many years of teaching and research experience at universities in several countries. He joined The Open University in 1999 as senior lecturer in Knowledge Management and course team chair for the MBA elective course in Managing Knowledge. He was also head of the Centre for Innovation, Knowledge and Enterprise at the Open University Business School and Co-Director of the cross-faculty Centre for Innovation, Knowledge and Development.
He has extensive contacts in the Pacific Rim and has co-edited books and journal issues covering the influence of the Asian economies in the twenty-first century. He is a Fellow of the Regional Studies Association and the Chairman of the Asia Pacific Technology Network (APTN) and a board member of Asia Pacific Researchers in Organization Studies (APROS).
Dr Little's expertise is in action research, cross-cultural research and e-collaboration, innovation and knowledge transfer, problem-based learning and distance learning.
